Description

Crispy and flavorful Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls made with tender shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, creamy cheeses, and wrapped in golden egg roll wrappers. Perfect for a quick appetizer or snack, these egg rolls deliver bold, zesty flavors in a healthier, air-fried version.

Ingredients

Scale

Buffalo Chicken Mixture

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

For Wrapping and Cooking

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) to ensure it is hot and ready for cooking the egg rolls evenly.
  2. Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and softened cream cheese thoroughly to create a creamy, spicy filling.
  3. Assemble Egg Rolls: Place a spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the edges tightly to seal the filling inside, ensuring no air is left inside the rolls.
  4. Spray Egg Rolls: Lightly spray the outside of each wrapped egg roll with cooking spray to help achieve a golden, crispy crust when air fried.
  5. Air Fry Egg Rolls: Arrange the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 380°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time to brown all sides evenly. Once golden and crisp, remove and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to easily mix with other ingredients.
  • Do not overfill the egg roll wrappers to prevent them from bursting during cooking.
  • Flip the egg rolls halfway through cooking for even crispiness on all sides.
  • Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for an extra tasty dip.
  • Use cooking spray lightly to avoid sogginess but enough to create a crisp texture.
