- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
For the topping:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- sliced almonds, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Make the crust: Mix cookie crumbs, ground almonds, and melted butter. Press into the pan and bake. Let cool.
- Prepare the filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar, add sour cream, eggs, extracts, and melted chocolate. Pour over crust.
- Bake: Bake for 45–50 minutes until set. Cool in the oven, then refrigerate.
- Make the topping: Heat cream, add chocolate chips, and almond extract. Pour over chilled cheesecake. Garnish with almonds.
