  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Mix bananas: Mash bananas with lemon juice.
  3. Prepare dry ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together.
  4. Cream butter and sugar: Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  6. Combine ingredients: Stir in banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk and dry ingredients.
  7. Bake: Pour batter into pan and bake for 45–50 minutes.
