Puff Pastry:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Filling:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
- Roll Out Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface.
- Add Filling: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pastry, leaving a border. Roll the pastry tightly into a log.
- Slice and Bake: Slice the log into pinwheels, place them on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden.

- For a spicier version, leave the jalapeño seeds in.
