- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- lemon slices for baking
Lemon Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F: Place salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Top each fillet with a lemon slice. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon is flaky and cooked through.

Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve: Serve salmon with a generous drizzle of lemon sauce and extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream in place of heavy cream.
- This sauce is also great over vegetables or pasta.
