- 4–5 ripe bananas (sliced)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
- Assemble the Banana Pudding: In a 9×13-inch dish or trifle bowl, layer vanilla wafers on the bottom, then top with a layer of sliced bananas and a layer of the pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
- Top with crushed vanilla wafers or extra whipped topping before serving, if desired.
