For the Salad:
- 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple (with juice)
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (thawed)
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 ripe bananas (sliced)
- 1 cup strawberries (diced)
- 1 cup chopped fresh or drained maraschino cherries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry vanilla pudding mix and crushed pineapple with its juice.
- Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
- Gently mix in the mini marshmallows, sliced bananas, diced strawberries, cherries, nuts (if using), and mini chocolate chips.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend and the salad to chill.
