  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

Toppings:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Cake Base: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and egg to form a thick dough.
  3. Layer and Bake: Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan, bake for 10 minutes, then add condensed milk, caramel sauce, toffee bits, and chocolate chips. Crumble remaining dough on top.
  4. Bake Again: Bake for 25–28 minutes until set and golden. Cool, drizzle with caramel, chill, and slice.
