Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Vegetable Stir Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add mushrooms, cook for 4-5 minutes until browned. Add bok choy, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Make the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour over stir fry, cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Finish and Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice or noodles.
