Scale
Brownie Mix:
1 box brownie mix (15–18 oz, heat-treated for safety)
Cream Cheese Mixture:
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additions:
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Heat-Treat Brownie Mix: If using raw brownie mix, heat-treat it by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F for 5 minutes, or microwaving in 30-second intervals until it reaches 165°F. Let cool completely.
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy. Add the brownie mix, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and well combined.
- Finalize Dip: Stir in the mini chocolate chips if using. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, strawberries, or cookies for dipping.
