  • 8 oz rotini or penne pasta

Dressing:

  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking, then set aside to cool.
  2. Prepare the Dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and black pepper.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the cooled pasta, chopped romaine, cherry tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, red onion if using, and bacon or chicken if desired. Toss well to combine.
  4. Serve: Just before serving, top with croutons for added crunch. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
