- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, lemon juice, and hot sauce (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow flavors to meld.
- Taste and add salt if needed. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, if desired.
- Serve immediately over seafood, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or rice.
Notes
- Adjust the heat by using more or less Cajun seasoning and hot sauce.
- This sauce can be made ahead and gently reheated before serving.
- For a creamier version, stir in a tablespoon of heavy cream.
