Pasta:
- 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
Shrimp and Sausage:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (divided)
Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Garnish:
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Cook shrimp and sausage: Season shrimp, cook in olive oil, set aside. Brown sausage in the same skillet, set aside.
- Make the sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, add cream, Parmesan, spices, simmer until thickened.
- Combine: Toss pasta, shrimp, and sausage in the sauce until heated through.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
