  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

Shrimp and Sausage:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (divided)

Alfredo Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Garnish:

  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook shrimp and sausage: Season shrimp, cook in olive oil, set aside. Brown sausage in the same skillet, set aside.
