  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup apple cider or apple juice

Instructions

  1. Cook Apples: Place sliced apples and apple cider in a slow cooker or pot. Cook on low for 8–10 hours until soft.
  2. Puree: Blend apples until smooth. Add sugars, spices, salt, and vanilla. Cook uncovered for 1–2 hours.
