Description

A delightful Caprese Dip recipe that combines the classic flavors of a Caprese salad in a warm and gooey dip perfect for any gathering or party.

Cherry Tomato Mixture:

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella (cubed or torn)
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Serving:

  • toasted baguette slices or crostini for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.

  3. Mix Ingredients:
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil, balsamic glaze, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to coat.

  5. Bake:
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tomatoes are softened.

  7. Serve:
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, drizzle with additional balsamic glaze, and serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crostini.

  • For a shortcut version, serve the dip cold and skip baking altogether.
