Brownie Batter:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chunks
Additional:
- ½ cup thick caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- Flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix Batter: In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Sift in flour, cocoa, and salt. Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Layer Batter: Pour half of the batter into the pan. Drizzle caramel sauce, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool, drizzle with caramel and sea salt, then cut into squares.
Notes
- Use a thick caramel sauce to prevent sinking.
- For gooier brownies, slightly underbake and chill before slicing.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
