Crunch Layer:
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
Chocolate Layer:
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare Caramel Layer: Melt butter in a saucepan; add brown sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk. Cook until thickened, then stir in vanilla.
- Combine Layers: Pour caramel over cereal in a bowl; mix well. Press into a pan.
- Add Chocolate Layer: Melt chocolate and oil, pour over caramel layer. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for 2 hours, then slice into bars and enjoy!
