  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Topping:

  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix dough: Cream butter and brown sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients separately and mix into wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Layer and bake: Spread two-thirds of the dough in the pan, top with caramel sauce and pecans, then drop spoonfuls of remaining dough over. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
