Instructions
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract.
- Prepare Dough: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cardamom, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Chill Dough: Divide dough in half, shape into discs, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake Cookies: Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough, cut into shapes, place on lined baking sheet, and bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Make Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, orange juice, and zest. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
