- 1 (11.36-ounce) package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix (plus ingredients called for on package, usually water and shredded cheese)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Sauté aromatics: In a large skillet or saucepan, melt butter and sauté onion until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Make the roux: Stir in flour and cook to form a roux.
- Prepare the filling: Gradually whisk in seafood stock and cream. Add seasoning, shrimp, crab, vegetables, and cheddar cheese.
- Assemble the pie: Pour the seafood filling into a pie dish. Top with spoonfuls of prepared biscuit dough.
- Bake: Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve.
