  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Cheese Sauce:

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Additional:

  • 1 bag (22 ounces) frozen French fries

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  3. Make Cheese Sauce: Mix cheddar cheese soup and sour cream. Stir in 1½ cups of shredded cheese. Combine with beef mixture.
  4. Assemble and Bake: Spread beef mixture in the baking dish. Top with frozen French fries. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.
  5. Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving.
