Ingredients
Lasagna Noodles:
9 lasagna noodles
Shredded Chicken:
2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter, 3 cloves garlic (minced), 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk, 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Cheese Mixture:
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 cup ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup chopped parsley (plus more for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté garlic, whisk in flour, add cream and milk, simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread a layer of sauce in a baking dish, then layer noodles, chicken, ricotta, mozzarella, and parsley. Repeat layers and top with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Rest and Serve: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
