- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Fettuccine: Prepare fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Stir in nutmeg. Return chicken to skillet, add cooked fettuccine. Toss until coated and heated through.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.
