Instructions

  3. Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, mixing until a soft dough forms.

  7. Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until set at the edges but still soft in the center.
