- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 jar (12 oz) caramel sauce

- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the dish: Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer the ingredients: Pour half of the evaporated milk into the dish, sprinkle the dry cake mix, drizzle the remaining milk and melted butter, pour the caramel sauce, sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans.
