- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a thick dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.

- Cool and Serve: Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
Notes
- For softer bars, slightly underbake and allow to cool in the pan.
- Swap in white chocolate or peanut butter chips for variety.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
