Description

These homemade Pudding Pops are a delicious, creamy frozen treat made from instant chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and optional chocolate chips or crushed cookies. Perfect for a quick and easy dessert, they can be customized with different pudding flavors and layered for a fun look.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix (about 3.9 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed cookies

Instructions

  1. Mix Pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk the cold milk and instant pudding mix for about 2 minutes until the mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Fold in Ingredients: Gently fold in the whipped topping and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Extras: Stir in the mini chocolate chips or crushed cookies if using, to add texture and flavor.
  4. Fill Molds: Spoon the pudding mixture evenly into popsicle molds, making sure to fill all the cavities.
  5. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.
  6. Remove and Serve: To remove the pudding pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull the pops out. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can make different flavors by using vanilla, banana, or butterscotch pudding mix instead of chocolate.
  • For a layered look, alternate two different pudding flavors in the molds before freezing.
