For the chocolate mousse:

  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For garnish (optional):

  • Fresh raspberries
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Make the chocolate cake base: Mix dry ingredients, add wet ingredients, pour into pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Prepare the raspberry mousse: Cook raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice, add gelatin, fold in whipped cream, and spread over cake.
  4. Create the chocolate mousse: Melt chocolate with cream, fold in whipped cream, layer over raspberry mousse, and chill.
