Cake:

- 1 cup sour cream

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a 10-inch bundt or tube pan.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine sour cream and milk.
- Combine and bake: Alternate adding dry ingredients and sour cream mixture to the butter mixture. Pour batter into pan and bake for 70–75 minutes.
- Cool and serve: Let the cake cool before removing from the pan. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate glaze.
