  • 3 large eggs, room temperature

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/2 cup strawberry preserves or strawberry puree
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Pour half of the batter over the crust.
  3. Create the Swirl: Drizzle melted chocolate and strawberry preserves over the batter, swirling gently. Repeat with remaining batter, chocolate, and preserves.
  4. Bake: Place the pan in a water bath and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool in the oven before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh strawberries before slicing and serving.
