Instructions

- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in eggnog, vanilla extract, and rum extract (if using).
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
