Main Bread:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

For the cinnamon swirl:

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry: Pour wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir until just combined.
  5. Prepare cinnamon swirl: Mix 1/3 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in a bowl.
  6. Layer batter: Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mix, then repeat.
  7. Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool and serve: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
