Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix milk, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Add to the dry ingredients and stir.
- Create cinnamon swirl: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Layer batter and swirl mix: Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon mix, add remaining batter, top with the rest of the swirl mix, and swirl with a knife.
- Bake: Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Prepare icing: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread.
