Instructions
- Prepare Egg Mixture: Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until thick and pale. Let cool.
- Whip Cream: Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks in a separate bowl.
- Combine Mixtures: Beat mascarpone until smooth, then fold in egg mixture and whipped cream.
- Layer Ladyfingers: Dip ladyfingers in espresso mixture and layer in a dish.
- Add Filling: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers, repeat layers, and refrigerate.
