Chicken & Sauce:
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Additional Ingredients:
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Place chicken in crock pot, add soup, broth, milk, onion, celery, and seasonings. Stir gently.
- Cook Chicken: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.
- Shred Chicken and Add Noodles: Remove chicken, shred, return to pot. Stir in noodles and butter. Cook on high for 20–30 minutes.
- Serve: Stir occasionally, then serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
