Dough:
- 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
Filling:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
Additional:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 teaspoons milk
- Extra crushed cookies for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Roll out the dough: Unroll the dough into a rectangle and press out to an even thickness.
- Add the filling: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough and sprinkle with crushed cookies.
- Roll up the dough: Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rounds.
- Bake: Place the rolls on the baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Make the glaze: Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
- Drizzle and serve: Drizzle the glaze over the slightly cooled rolls and top with crushed cookies if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra indulgence, add mini chocolate chips inside before rolling.
