Pasta:
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 small green bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 pound cooked crawfish tails (with fat, if available)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Fettuccine: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: Sauté onion and bell pepper in butter and oil. Add garlic, soup, cream, Parmesan, Creole seasoning, and paprika. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Finish the Dish: Add crawfish to the sauce, then combine with cooked pasta. Season and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- If crawfish isn’t available, shrimp makes an excellent alternative. For a spicier kick, consider adding cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
