Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 ½ to 4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Beat Cream Cheese and Butter: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add Flavorings: Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing to combine.
- Gradually Add Sugar: Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition until the frosting reaches your desired sweetness and consistency.

Notes
- For a thicker frosting suitable for piping, use the full 4 cups of powdered sugar.
- If too thick, add a teaspoon of milk at a time to loosen.
