For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, mix together ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Cook the Meatballs: Brown the meatballs in olive oil in a skillet until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add cream, Parmesan, and nutmeg. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine and Serve: Return meatballs to the sauce, toss to coat, and simmer briefly. Garnish with parsley before serving.
