  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: According to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Sauté the vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter. Add onion, bell pepper, and cook until softened.
  3. Add seasonings: Garlic, allspice, paprika, thyme, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Cook the shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink. Remove and set aside.
  5. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, combine coconut milk, cream, and broth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
