Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Cook the Fudge: Combine maple syrup, sugar, cream, butter, and salt in a saucepan. Boil until 238°F, then cool to 110°F. Stir in vanilla and beat until thick.
- Add Pecans: Fold in chopped pecans if desired. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Set and Serve: Allow to set at room temperature until firm, about 2 hours. Cut into squares and enjoy!
