- ½ teaspoon salt

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chopped kale or spinach
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: In a large pot over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Add olive oil if needed.
- Sauté Aromatics: Add diced onion and cook until soft. Stir in minced garlic.
- Add Potatoes & Broth: Combine potatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Finish the Soup: Stir in heavy cream and greens. Simmer until creamy and heated through. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Serve topped with Parmesan.
