- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (0.87 oz) packet chicken gravy mix
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for creamier gravy)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a crockpot. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks. Stir in sour cream if using, and mix until fully incorporated into the gravy.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or biscuits. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a thicker gravy, let the sauce sit uncovered in the slow cooker for 10–15 minutes before serving.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for added richness.
