- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth

- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Sauté Onions and Garlic: Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Combine Ingredients: Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot. Add beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and broth. Stir in spices.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust salt, pepper, and spices before serving.
