Ingredients
Ground Beef:
1 lb;
Potatoes:
4 medium, peeled and thinly sliced;
Frozen Green Beans or Mixed Vegetables:
2 cups;
Onion:
1 small, sliced;
Cream of Mushroom Soup:
1 can (10.5 oz);
Milk:
½ cup;
Garlic Powder:
1 teaspoon;
Onion Powder:
1 teaspoon;
Dried Thyme:
½ teaspoon;
Salt and Black Pepper:
to taste;
Shredded Cheddar Cheese:
1½ cups
Instructions
- Brown the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up as it browns. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- Mix the Cream of Mushroom Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the Ingredients: Grease the crockpot and layer potatoes, onions, green beans, and beef. Pour half of the soup mixture over. Repeat the layers.
- Cook in the Crockpot: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until potatoes are tender.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top 15 minutes before serving. Cover until melted.
- Serve: Serve warm directly from the crockpot.
