- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
- chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Optional: For extra flavor, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a medium bowl, mix the Lipton onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, water or broth, garlic powder, and black pepper until combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Stir the sauce before serving and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of mushroom with cream of chicken or cream of celery soup.
- Add sliced mushrooms or baby carrots for extra veggies.
- Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
