Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Season Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
- Cook Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, simmer, then stir in heavy cream. Cook until slightly thickened.
- Finish Dish: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
