Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Cook Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, simmer, then stir in heavy cream. Cook until slightly thickened.
  4. Finish Dish: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
