Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry: Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk mixture to the butter mixture.
  6. Prepare Chocolate Swirl: Mix cocoa powder, hot water, and espresso powder in a bowl.
  7. Marble the Batter: Transfer some vanilla batter to the chocolate mixture and swirl in the pan.
