Pasta Mixture:
- 2 cups cooked pasta (such as elbow macaroni or rotini)
- 1 (14.75 oz) can pink salmon, drained and flaked (bones and skin removed if desired)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried dill (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Topping:
- ½ cup crushed buttery crackers or breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, flaked salmon, cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Prepare dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Add topping: In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
