Instructions
- Cook linguine pasta: Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Preheat oven: Heat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish to prevent sticking.
- Prepare sauce: In a large bowl, combine melted butter, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chicken broth, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until the sauce is smooth and well blended.
- Combine ingredients: Add freshly chopped parsley, shredded cooked chicken, and the cooked linguine pasta to the sauce. Stir everything thoroughly to ensure the pasta and chicken are evenly coated with the sauce. Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.

Notes
- For best results, use cooked chicken leftovers or rotisserie chicken to save time.
- You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with homemade mushroom sauce or cream of chicken soup if preferred.
- Covering the casserole while baking helps retain moisture and ensures even cooking.
- This recipe can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking; just add extra baking time if baking from chilled.
- Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms or peas for extra texture and flavor.
